Dog Section leave rivals panting in Mombasa

Mombasa's Dog Section club won this year's Team forms category during the Kenya Tong Il Moo Do championships at Mama Ngina Drive, Mombasa.

Best Kickers were second while KK security finished third. In the ladies' category, Moi University's Faith Wambui defeated her schoolmate Ange Rangala in the final. Jacqueline Muli, of the Dog Section, was third.

In boys' 15 years category, it was an all-Dog Section affair after they claimed the top three positions. Collins Ndunda topped the ranks, Abdullahi Ismael was second, while Salim Suleiman was third.

In ladies' Sparring 45-55 kg category, Moi University duo of Faith Wambui and Sarah Kamau emerged winners. Wambui beat Sarah in the final.

In the 55-65 kg category, Kabete Polytechnic's Pauline Gachie defeated Ange Rangala of Moi University in the final. In men's individual category (sparring) 45- 50 kg, Abdullahi Ismael (Dog Section) beat Simon Timos (Moi University) in the final.

Musa Yahya (Moi University) won the 51-55 kg, while Hassan Wanga (Moi University) was second and Raphael Ringa (Moi University) finished third.

In the 76-80 kg category, Moi University once again clinched the tiop two positions after Jesse Shirim beat Tom Kabochi. In 71-75 kg, Wallace Mbathi (Kabete Polytechnic) defeated Moi University's Leendrat Kiarie and Dennis Ndiku.
