Arsene Wenger has been offered a two-year deal to take over as manager of Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

That is according to The Sun, who say the under-fire Arsenal boss has been approached to replace Unai Emery at the Parc des Princes ahead of the new season.

Frenchman Wenger is under huge pressure at the Emirates after the club's humbling Champions League exit at the hands of Bayern Munich and their struggles to make the top four of the Premier League.

But Emirates chiefs have left the ball in Wenger's court and he is expected to extend his stay in north London.

That has left Wenger almost resigned to having to plan without them and find replacements for the future and Arsenal will back him heavily with a massive budget of over £100m to ‘try to take the club to the next level.’

Arsenal have already drawn up a list of transfer targets, with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe, Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Celtic’s Moussa Dembele among their targets up front.
