Ulinzi are focused on next round of Cup tie

Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso says their focus now fully shifts to the first round of the CAF Confederations Cup tie.

The soldiers beat Libyan outfit Al Hilal Benghazi 5-4 on post-match penalties to make it from the preliminary round of the competition. “It was very good to qualify because we were determined to do so. It wasn’t an easy match especially when the opponents were frustrating us by wasting a lot of time. But now that we are through, we have to start planning for the next round. It gets harder and the work has just begun,” he told the club’s website. Ulinzi will play against Egyptian side Smouha with the first round match set for Alexandria on March 10.
