Barcelona coach Luis Enrique avoided questions about his future as speculation grows that he will leave the Spanish champions at the end of the season when his contract expires, according to the Sun.

Enrique declined to remark on whether he felt his players needed him to stay in control while speaking to Journalists ahead of Barcelona's Copa de Rey quarter-last second leg with Real Sociedad.

He also refused to answer a question inquiring as to whether his assistant Juan Carlos Unzue, announced by the media to be Luis Enrique's first decision to succeed him, was prepared to steer the club, saying: "This question has nothing to do with tomorrow's game."

The former Barcelona and Spain midfielder has clinched every trophy possible in the two-and-a-half years since succeeding Gerardo Martino in 2014, including successive league titles and Copa del Reys as well as the 2015 Champions League.
