The World Anti-Doping Agency reinstates Beijing laboratory

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) announced Tuesday it had reinsated the Beijing laboratory that had been suspended from anti-doping analyses since April for failing to meet procedural standards.

In a statement issued from WADA's Montreal headquarters, WADA director general Olivier Niggli said the anti-doping body was pleased to confirm the lab's accreditation had been reinstated "just ahead of the maximum four-month suspension that was issued in April".
