Cecafa face hard time to lure fans to stadium in regional games

The euphoria and flair that characterised the East and Central Africa Senior Challenge Cup tournament in the in 1970s and 1980s is lacking as this year’s edition, which had been programmed to be held  in Kenya in November now hang in balance.

This follows shocking announcement by Confederation of East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) Secretary General Nicholas Musonye a week ago that they were contemplating moving the event from Kenya to Uganda.
