Crime of passion: Man arrested in Kitengela after fatally stabbing lover

Police in Kitengela, Kajiado County are investigating an incident where a middle-aged man allegedly stabbed a woman in an apparent crime of passion.

The unidentified man stabbed his girlfriend to death at a restaurant in Kitengela on Friday night.

The deceased is reportedly said to have rejected the man’s romantic advances.  

Members of the public descended on the man, laying blows. 

He was rushed to the Kitengela Sub-County Hospital in critical condition.

According to Kajiado County Police Commander Muthuri Mwongera, the body of the deceased was moved to Shalom Hospital Mortuary.
