Two people died and three others seriously injured after they were involved in a road accident along Kajiado- Namanga highway on Monday night.
The accident that occurred few kilometers from Kajiado town involved a private vehicle and a 52-seater bus belonging to Sai-Baba express.
Confirming the incident, Kajiado OCPD Issa Mohamud said the vehicles were heading to opposite directions at the time of the accident.
''The X-trail was heading towards Namanga when it lost control and rammed into the bus headed towards Nairobi. Both drivers lost control and fell into a ditch. The driver of the personal car and a passanger died on the spot,” the police boss said.

Mohamud also cautioned road users to follow traffic rules and respect other users as well to avoid accidents on the roads.
''We just can't continue losing people in this road as a result of careless drivers. This must stop,” he warned.
The injured were rushed to the Kajiado Referral hospital where they were admitted and bodies of the deceased also moved to the hospitall’s mortuary.
The wreckage of the two vehicles was towed to Kajiado Police station.
