Political parties to fill one slot in electoral agency's selection panel

Political parties will play role in the formation of the selection panel for recruitment of chairperson and commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The amendment of the IEBC Act will see the Political Parties Liaison Committee (PPLC), an umbrella body of all political parties, get one slot in the selection panel.
