Nyali MP Awiti Bolo opposes joint gubernatorial primaries

Nyali MP Awiti Bolo has turned down a proposal to have a single Opposition candidate for the Mombasa gubernatorial post. The Opposition wants all CORD aspirants to hold a joint primary to select a candidate to face Jubilee.

The proposal was made during last weekend’s tour by ODM party leader Raila Odinga and accepted by Governor Hassan Joho of ODM and Senator Hassan Omar of the Wiper Democratic Movement.
