In May, the National Gender and Equality Commission, (NGEC) advertised a logo design competition and promised cash prizes for the top three participants.
This prompted Mr William Acholla Otieno to try his luck. After several days of cracking his head, he came up with what he thought was a near-perfect logo; seven outstretched hands inside the Kenyan map, which he submitted to NGEC.
