Police in Siaya county have launched investigations into an incident where a 28-year-old man allegedly killed his 30-year-old neighbour for teasing his bedroom skills.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) took to their Twitter account on Thursday, October 7, to state that Marvin Onyango was killed for mocking George Onyango, the main suspect, for being an underperformer in sexual activities.

“Preliminary investigations reveal that prior to the incident, the deceased had been mocking the suspect for being a Johnny-come-lately in marrying his wife, after what the deceased described as ‘being assisted by other men’,” DCI tweeted.

According to the detectives investigating the matter, the suspect smashed the deceased’s head using a club and killed him instantly.

Police say it is the mean comments by the deceased towards the suspect that angered him, prompting him to reach for the weapon and attacking him.

The body of the deceased has been moved to the morgue awaiting post-mortem as investigations into the incident are underway.

The suspect is still at large.
