Kenya's shortest funeral ceremony: Man buried within 10 minutes

Residents of Mwangathia village in Ndia, Kirinyaga West were treated to an unusual incident after a 60-year-old man was buried in less than 10 minutes as per his last wishes. Family members took the body of Stanley Mugo from the mortuary straight to the graveside where his body was interred without any burial rites.

According to James Ngaire, a family member, the man had left instructions that he did not want any church or traditional ceremony at his burial.
