Young activists have formed the National People's Council, which they said is rooted in the principles of social justice, rule of law and human rights.

The council was formed by activists under Nairobi Chapter Social Justice Centre Working Group at Mathare Social Justice Centre in Nairobi County, on August 2, 2025.
