Slain Kasipul MP Charles Ong'ondo Were will be laid to rest on May 9, 2025, at his home in Homa-Bay, the planning committee has announced.

The Committee, chaired by Homa-Bay town Peter Kaluma, has, however, said the postmortem exercise that was slated for May 2 was postponed after police sought more time to complete the investigations.
