The Law Society of Kenya now demands resignation or an apology from the Inspector-General of the National Police Service, Douglas Kanja, for attending and speaking at President William Ruto's rally in Nyeri.

According to LSK, the participation and remarks of the Inspector-General raise serious institutional concerns for the National Police Service, as they were not only avoidable but also unwarranted.
