Martha Karua has said that Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential ticket cannot be compared to their competitors.

Karua, who is Raila Odinga's running mate in the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition Party, was addressing their supporters at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi for the final rally ahead of Tuesday's polls.

Karua said that Odinga had been at the forefront fighting for Kenyans' freedom and the new Constitution.

"There is no one who has qualifications to be Kenya's next president except Raila Odinga," she said.

According to Karua, the Azimio coalition has completed its campaigns, and that the final rally was meant to give she and Raila Odinga the opportunity to call out everyone to come out and vote.

"What is remaining, is for you to confirm him (Odinga) as president through your votes so that he can assume office," she said.

The former Gichugu MP said their ticket is seeking to bring change to Kenya through economic revolution and peace programmes.

She said that should they win the August 9 polls, their government will prioritise the fight against corruption because it has threatened to cripple Kenya.

"We need to save our country through your votes," said Karua, adding: "Let us follow the one who respects all women."

She described Raila as a respectful man, who has the interests of Kenyans at heart while calling on the people to come out and vote.
