Man found sodomising student

A flower farm worker escaped death narrowly after he was caught red-handed sodomising a 15-year old boy in a Naivasha estate.

The middle-aged man was beaten before police came to his rescue in South Lake as it emerged that the duo had a relationship for many months.

Emotions ran high after the suspect was nabbed by the father of the Form Two student in the act after days of investigations.

Things were made worse after his wife joined those attacking him, as she questioned what the man lacked to commit such an act.

According to the father of the boy, he had noticed that the two had developed a queer relationship and would always be together.

“The age-gap between the two is too big and I started investigating the matter only to find them in a neighbor’s house stark-naked and committing the act,” said the irate father.

He said he called neighbors and even told the wife of the suspect who beat the man before he was taken to Kongoni Police Station.

More drama was to unfold as the wife screamed and wailed wondering what the husband saw in boys.

Outgoing Naivasha OCPD Ernest Oponyo said the man would be arraigned in court to face various charges.  “The suspect is currently in police custody and the minor has been taken to hospital for medical check-up,” he said.

The incident comes barely two days after a senior teacher in a public school in Gilgil was arrested for allegedly having oral sex with his male student.

Elsewhere police in Kongoni Naivasha have busted a major illicit-brewing factory in Huruma area of Ndabibi.

The officers also arrested a woman said to be the mastermind behind the brewing and sale of the illegal product.

During the incident, the officers seized brewing equipment and more than 300 litres of the lethal brew destined for market.

“The woman has for long brewed and transported the product to Nairobi before our officers caught up with her,” said the OCPD.
