DCI gets new head of operations in changes

Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti has appointed Danson Diru as the head of operations at the DCI headquarters.

Diru swapped positions with Samuel Nyabengi who moved to planning section while Johna Kirui was moved to Embu in County Criminal Investigations Officer’s office.

Machakos County head of George Kisaka was moved to DCI headquarters and deployed to the library section.

Meanwhile, the National Police Service Commission has promoted 95 DCI officers of the rank of inspector to Chief Inspector. The officers had been in training at Kiganjo for months before they were promoted.

And all traffic personnel in Machakos County have been moved in changes. The more than 50 officers were moved by Inspector General of police Hilary Mutyambai following complaints from motorists using major roads in the area.

They were moved to other sections within the county and replaced by other personnel dispatched there.
