Fire fighters from Nairobi County managed to put out the fire but after it had flattened many structures.

Those affected have asked for help to reconstruct the structures.

Meanwhile, police are looking for a gang that raided a private residence in Gigiri area and robbed the owner of his gun and 120 rounds of ammunition, assorted jewelry, laptops and CCTV camera decoder and cash.

The two armed men were wearing balaclava when they raided the home of the 75-year-old businessman at the weekend. The gang escaped without injuring anyone.
