Suspects in Pastor Muiru's mother death remanded

Two suspects believed to have played a role in the brutal murder of Pastor Pius Muiru's mother have been detained for two weeks to enable the police to complete their investigation.

The suspects, who include Wangari Mwangi's daughter-in-law, were remanded on Friday by Kigumo Senior Principal Magistrate Agnes Wahito Mwangi following an application by the investigators.

Monica Muthoni, 36, and a security guard, Ezekiel Saitambua, 33 will appear for the mention of their case on April 7.
