Residents of a slum in Jomvu constituency are living in fear following threats of eviction.

 Uhuru Owino village elder Alfred Ogala claimed that he no longer sleeps in his house after a gang threatened him following his pursuit of compensation for pollution and laying claim to the land where he says he has lived for nearly 30 years.
