Kenya flourish

We deceive ourselves if we think she rejoices to see Kenya flourish. Our prosperity cannot give pleasure to Uganda and does not give pleasure to Tanzania, too, because the excellence of our productions, added to the enterprise and industry of Kenyans, put us at an advantage.

However, when they find us destitute of an effective government, each party governing the way it knows best with discordant results, and each inclining to this or that tribal grouping, what a poor and pitiful figure will Kenya make in the eyes of Uganda.
