Two weeks after their political tour of Homa Bay descended into chaos, leaders under the Linda Mwananchi Brigade have shifted their campaign to Meru County. The leaders made a series of stopovers across the county, using the rallies to criticise President William Ruto’s administration over what they described as failure to fulfil key promises that propelled the Kenya Kwanza coalition to power. As they seek to strengthen their political base ahead of the 2027 General Election, the leaders questioned the President’s record in office, arguing that his performance so far offers little justification for a second term.
