Eldoret Archdiocese Bishop Cornelius Korir blames security units

Eldoret Archdiocese Bishop Cornelius Korir has blamed both county and national governments for taking too long to arrest escalating insecurity situations in the country.

Speaking in reference to the clashes between Maasai and Kipsigis communities in Olpusimoru that began on the eve of Christmas Day, claimed two lives and led to the torching of over 200 houses, Korir said the Government should put in place preemptive measures instead of waiting for massive damage to deploy security.
