Immediate former Deputy Inspector General of Police Grace Kaindi has now moved to high court to challenge her retirement from the National Police Service.

Filing her suit through a certificate of urgency, Kaindi argues that the said decision was never put on paper, amounting to a roadside declaration-against the law.

"I assumed office in 2013 and was given a five year contract that is to end in 2018," Kaindi said in a sworn affidavit.

She says she also learnt about her transfer through the media instead of the required .

Kaindi wants the High Court to quash the decision and stop her transfer to civil service as ambassador.
