The ruling United Democratic Alliance party (UDA) is currently holding its Ol Kalau nominations in different parts of the constituency.

The party has 10 candidates who are seeking the to run for office using the President William Ruto-led party’s ticket.

The seat fell vacant when the David Kiaraho died Sunday, 29th March 2026, while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

He had been elected on a Jubilee Party ticket in 2017 and survived the UDA wave in the run up to the 2022 general elections to retain his seat.
