The national thanksgiving prayer service is underway at the Nakuru Athletics Club (NAC).
President William Ruto, his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Cabinet Secretaries, a host of governors, MPs and senators are in attendance.
Notable figures attending the prayer service include leaders from the Jubilee Party who recently threw their weight behind President Ruto.
The Jubilee leaders include EALA MP Kanini Kega who was on Friday 'appointed' acting Secretary-General of the party linked to former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Twendeni Kanisa (Let's go to church) good people," Kanini posted on social media.
Also present is Bahati MP Irene Njoki, who was appointed to Jubilee's National Executive Committee (NEC) in the recent changes, and her Sirisia counterpart, John Waluke.
The thanksgiving service comes days after 'suspended' Jubilee SG Jeremiah Kioni said that the Azimio Coalition was planning a rally in the county.

Speaking during the service, Apostle Sammy Ngahu called on the president to have the event held in Nakuru every year.
"This prayer service is the fulfilment of a promise made by leaders in 2013. History has proven that prayers made in Nakuru are always answered. Let us have this event here in Nakuru in perpetuity each year," said Ngahu.
Unlike during other church services, First Lady Rachel Ruto and DP Gachagua's wife, Pastor Dorcas, wore their religious hats.
The two were each given an opportunity to make a prayer for the country, its leadership and unity.
