In the past week, many Kenyans have been left with questions surrounding the circumstances of Jeff Mwathi's death.
The 23-year-old interior designer had spent the evening of February 21 in the company of popular Mugithi singer DJ Fatxo, only to fall from the singer's 10th-floor apartment in the early hours of February 22.
As the public demands justice for Jeff, it has now come to light that the young man may have been romantically involved with two women.
Since Jeff's death, his girlfriend Faith Wairimu has been vocal in demanding justice for her late boyfriend.
On her social media accounts, she has shared several videos of herself and Jeff, including one of the couple playing with phone filters while relaxing in bed and taking selfies together. In a caption dated March 13, Wairimu wrote, "Always in my mind forever in my heart."
However, just hours after Wairimu's post, another woman named Iheart Njeri shared videos on her TikTok page showing her spending time with Jeff.
In a caption accompanied by the hashtags #RIP and #ILoveYou, Njeri wrote, "Always in my heart my love. Am sorry, hope you find justice."
The revelation of Njeri's relationship with Jeff has left netizens confused, wondering if he was in a love triangle.

In response to public pressure, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has issued orders for the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to investigate Jeff's death. Detectives from the DCI have promised to leave no stone unturned in their probe.
According to DJ Fatxo, he had left his apartment in Kasarani with three women and returned several hours later to find that Jeff was nowhere to be found. The circumstances surrounding Jeff's fall from the apartment window remain unclear, and investigators are working to uncover the truth.
