Joshua Jackson and Lupita Nyong'o have made their relationship official after beach photos of them holding hands during her birthday trip to Mexico went public.
The actors were captured having a good time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Monday as they celebrated Nyong'o's 41st birthday.
The photos obtained by E! News showcased the pair running into the ocean together and nearly kissing as they embraced each other by the seaside.
Other photos showed the couple holding hands while strolling on the beach in their swimsuits, pictures that have been widely shared on social media.

The pair first caught public attention as a possible couple in October 2023 when they were seen at a concert by Janelle Monáe in Los Angeles.
At that time, both Jackson and Nyong'o were ending previous relationships. Jackson was going through a divorce with Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he has a child. Nyong'o had also just shared news about her breakup with Selema Masekela.
In a recent talk with PORTER magazine, Nyong'o spoke about how tough her breakup was and why she decided to share this part of her life publicly.
She mentioned wanting to be real with people and show that life isn't always perfect, as it might seem on social media.
"I was living in a lot of pain and heartbreak," she said, adding, "I looked at the environment of my social media and thought I don’t want to be a part of this illusion.”
