Kenyan singer Bahati has once again made headlines with a heart-warming gesture for his family. The renowned artiste, has been trending after he surprisingly gifted his father-in-law a brand-new Toyota Axio.
The generous act was shared with fans in a live video on his celebrity Wife Diana Marua's YouTube channel, keeping fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of the big reveal. At some point the live video had 12,000 people watching the proceedings at his house.
The much-awaited moment was teased for days as Bahati kept his followers engaged with glimpses of what was to come. Fans had been keeping up with his online antics which seem to be enjoyed by both their fans, where the couple usually shares insights into their lives, behind-the-scenes moments, and special surprises.

This time, however, it wasn’t just another glimpse into their daily routine—it was a surprise that left fans stunned.
In the video, Bahati intimates that the couple is celebrating eight years of being together and he will be having the same number of gifts, with the first being a car for his father-in-law. The Mama singer claims Mzee Marua is the best father in the world.
Diana’s father, clearly overwhelmed with emotion, expresses his gratitude and admiration for his son-in-law’s thoughtful gift. The exchange, full of love and appreciation, quickly went viral, with fans praising Bahati for his kindness and generosity.
His wife was overwhelmed by emotions following his gesture stating that not only was it a surprise, but never in her mind had she thought she would ever experience such.
“Babe, despite all the pain you swallowed and the tears you shed, you still saw it worthy to be a Blessing to my Dad. To be a son he never had. You have made God smile; you have made your Dad & Mom in heaven proud. You have made me happy,” she shared.

Diana paid tribute to how far the two had come and how much he had sacrificed to be where he was.
“It’s unbelievable that I would live to experience the feelings of this day. I know how deep hurt, brokenness & discouragement feels but to see how my Hubby @bahatikenya broke down, because of wanting to feel valued, considered and appreciated; hurts in ways I cannot explain. There is more to this video but we leave it at that for now “she posted on Instagram.
