Several Manchester United players are said to be disappointed with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's treatment of popular goalkeeper Sergio Romero, who now faces the prospect of not playing any football until January at the earliest.

The Argentinean, 33, has been a loyal deputy to David De Gea for the past five years at Old Trafford, playing only seven Premier League matches in that time but also amassing 61 appearances in all competitions.
