Arsenal's new boy Cohen Bramall deletes Twitter account after tweet showing support for Man United

Cohen Bramall in Twitter storm

Arsenal new boy Cohen Bramall has already deleted his Twitter account after trolls uncovered a tweet which suggested he is a Manchester United fan.

The young defender officially completed his £40,000 switch from non-league Hednesford Town to Arsenal earlier this week.

There are many perks to being a Premier League footballer, but having your tweets trawled through by football fans with nothing better to do is not one of them, report football.london.

But you’ve got to hand it to the trolls, they are thorough. They’ve gone all the way back to Boxing Day in 2012 to find a tweet from the then-15-year-old Bramall proclaiming “For all the people who hate United… Suck out!”

No, we’re not sure what it means either but it came on the back of Man United’s 4-3 defeat of Newcastle United, thanks to a last-minute Javier Hernandez strike.

Bramall has since deleted his Twitter account, presumably before anyone could find any posts praising the quality of the pies at White Hart Lane.
