Manchester United to bid for Benfica youngster

United have set aside £40million to bid for Benfica youngster Renato Sanches in the summer, according to reports.

Portuguese outlet A Bola claim the Red Devils are desperate to land the 18-year-old, who has shone in Portugal this season.

However, even a bid of £40million may not be enough to land the teenager, with the Primeira Liga champions reportedly holding out for a fee of £47million.
