The Bahama Mama is a delicious tropical cocktail with fresh fruit flavour, which masks a very high Alcohol by Volume Content (ABV).

It has been decorated with many iconic rum cocktails and all you think about as you enjoy it is the beach.

It conjures up visions of beaches and summer vacation on one’s mind, but its true origin is interwoven with rich Calypso culture.

INGREDIENTS:

30ml Golden rum.

30ml Coconut rum.

50ml Orange juice.

100ml Pineapple juice.

½ Lime(juiced.)

Ice cubes.

Splash of Grenadine.

Pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry, to garnish

METHOD:

STEP 1

Divide the golden rum, coconut rum and all the juices into different cocktail glasses. Fill the hurricane glasses with ice cubes to the brim.

STEP 2

Stir the mixture well and drizzle in the grenadine to create an ombre effect. Carefully garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry. Enjoy!!
