Jovial and full of life Everline gladly shared with Farmers.co.ke how she adds value to groundnuts, soya beans, amaranths, wheat and sorghum to make her very own brand of flour known as Gemini Flour or “Uji Tamu”.
The flour is rich in vitamins A, B1 and B2, protein, fibre and fats and is enriched with bodybuilding nutrients.
It is a rich source of energy and carbohydrates.
Consumers can use it to make Uji or cook Ugali with it and enjoy its health benefits and sweet taste.
Everline tells us of how it is good for underweight kids and people who have lost appetite.
It helps boost libido, increase blood supply, control diabetes and cures ulcers in two weeks.
It also reduces arthritis and helps in increasing milk in lactating mums as its health benefits.
Everline makes the flour by crushing all the dry components of well-grown, mature and well-stored groundnuts, soya beans, amaranths, wheat and sorghum before mixing them all together.
It is then packaged and sold all-natural with no preservatives.
The flour has a shelf life of about six months.
Consumers can use it to cook either porridge or Ugali in five minutes.
Buyers make porridge with it by adding two spoons of Gemini flour to a half cup of cold water then add the mixture to about two and a half cups of hot boiling water then stirring until they see bubbles.
It is cooked for five to six minutes then served to be enjoyed.
