I have a herd of 15 Friesian dairy crosses on my 10-acre farm. The animals are on a semi-zero grazing system. A month ago, I noticed two of the dairy animals producing a lot of tears. On close examination, I noticed a red flap of flesh protruding. The other animal had a blue colouration in the middle of its eyes. I called my vet who said it was cancer and pink eye respectively. Recently when it was dry I again, noticed that three or four animals again had watery eyes; This is a worrying trend. How can I stop it?
