Reggae artiste QQ got the crowd moving when he performed at the Carnivore, Nairobi last Saturday.

The 17-year-old singer had his first hit at the age of ten with the single, Poverty, making him Jamaica’s youngest star.

However, his climb to fame has not been without challenges. In 2007, he had to stop performing as his parents battled for his custody in Jamaican courts. They were later awarded joint custody.

QQ has released several dancehall hits including Stookie, Rum Ram, Tek It Dem and the Kenyan favourite Skip to My Lu.
