How did you start playing golf?

I was lucky enough to live in the middle of a golf course. A family friend got me hitting my first golf ball at the tender age of three,but I started seriously when I was six.

How is golf as a profession in Kenya?

It is very tough to be honest due to the lack of competition. Most of the pros are forced to have a job on the side to guarantee a steady income. Golfing has a long way to go in Kenya. In future I plan to play abroad.

Why do you think golf is associated with the affluent?

It is very expensive to start playing golf, the equipment and membership fees easily come to hundreds of thousands of shillings. However, Some clubs sponsor some members who are good golfers, but such opportunities are still very rare.

Describe your typical week

I practice everyday apart from Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Except when I have a tournament organised by the tournament director.

Is that the only sport you play?

I used to play a lot of football and tennis back in high school. Now I mainly focus on Golf after graduating last year from USIU.

Are you dating?

No I am not, we broke up recently.

What do you look for in a partner?

I love women from all backgrounds but I prefer a full figured to one with a leaner figure. She must also be social, outgoing, fun, down to earth and God fearing.
