2025 was a great year for American rapper and songwriter Doechii, and it just keeps getting better. Jaylah Ji'mya Hickmon, popularly known as Doechii, has been named Billboard's 2025 Woman of the Year. She will be honoured and celebrated at a prestigious event later in March. The date and venue will be announced to her fans and family on Monday.
The 27-year-old has been in the spotlight this year after winning a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. It was her first Grammy and she went home with the award for her 2024 album 'Alligator Bites Never Heal. ' The Denial is a river hitmaker made history after becoming the third woman to win at the Oscars, after Lauryn Hill in 1997 and Cardi B in 2019.
