From the early hours of the morning, mourners arrived at the mortuary, eager to pay their final respects to Brian Chira before his body was prepared for viewing.

His remains have already left the Kenyatta University mortuary en route to Githunguri, Kiambu for burial, where he will be laid to rest alongside his grandmother.

The circumstances surrounding Chira's death are under investigation by the police. Reports indicate that he was hit by a speeding car in the Karuri area, with his body collected from the scene and taken to the City Mortuary before being transferred to the Kenyatta University mortuary.
