Singer Eric Wainaina celebrates 48th birthday in style

Legendary singer, songwriter Eric Wainanina recently celebrated his 48th birthday in a celebrity-studded bush party at his Nairobi National park residence in Rongai. The soft spoken musician entertained his guests with bonfire barbecue ,song and dance.
 
Eric and his wife Sheebah Hirst hosted H_Art the Band, script writer Queen Gathoni, spoken word artiste Ngartia, activist Boniface Mwangi and his wife Njeri among others. The Nchi ya Kitu Kidogo hitmaker expressed his gratitude to his guests while urging the public to get the Coronavirus jab.
 
"Artistes are greatly affected yet we have the voice. Lat's utilise it to convince the masses for their sake and our own good," he said.
 
Currently, Eric, rapper Juliani, Crystal Asige, Nikita Kering, Mercy Masika and the legendary Freshly Mwamburi among others are involved in Chanjo Kwa Wote campaign which advocates for mass vaccinations to enable the government open up the economy.
 
Eric has also featured in Unicef's ONE HUMAN initiative; a project featuring 123 artistes from 110 countries coming together in song for global unity to raise funds to support world citizens.
