Three-man boy band H_art, have without a doubt set the bar as one of the most recognized groups in the region. With the release of their third studio album which is currently rocking the airwaves with good ratings, the award-winning group has embarked on the release of their videos to further popularize their releases.

They are currently riding high with the song 'My Jaber' in which they feature Kisumu-based star Brizy whose claim to fame was through his single 'Hera nyalo sandi' which went viral making him an instant sensation in the video-sharing app.

Together, they met earlier this week in a star-studded video shoot for the song whose audio has so far garnered almost a million hits on Youtube.

"It was strategic. Our audience in the lake region have been pressing us for a song that speaks to them and when we were recording our album in Kisumu we worked with him to release an afro-benga sound. It worked!" says Hart the band's lead vocalist Mordecai Dex.

Brizy was excited to have been given the opportunity to work with the group. "Everybody loves their music. Personally, I was their huge fan and working with them just elevated my thirst for working harder," said the soft-spoken Brizy.

The video depicts the life of a flamboyant man from the lake region with an arrogant attitude who is intimidated by the presence of a beautiful, independent and charismatic African woman who is not impressed by his flashy lifestyle.

Media personality Betty Kyalo and Willis 'Bazuu' Raburu were cast for the lead roles while the rest were split to other celebrities including Kartelo and Steph Kapela. "I love the song and when they asked me to play the role, I gladly took it," said Betty.

Others who graced the shoot include rapper Boutrous and former Ochungulo member Benzema. Benzema encouraged artistes to support each other as one unit instead of having bitter episodes fueled with hate amongst themselves.

The Uliza kiatu hitmakers revealed that were it not for the MoH regulatory protocols, they would have loved to shoot the video from the lakeside, where the song was made. "Kisumu, we are coming." they joked. The video is set to drop late next week.
