Pendo loses mum to pandemic

Nairobi Diaries star and socialite Pendo is mourning the death of her mother Mariam Cheptoo Engoke, who passed on from complications from Covid-19 yesterday. Pendo, real name Stacy Vugutsa, spoke to Standard Entertainment while enroute to their family home in Vihiga, her mother’s final resting place.

"It's too much for me. It's too much to bear. She was unwell, then suffered complications and that was it," said Pendo.
