Mutant baby shark with 'human face’ discovered by fisherman

Experts have suggested its unique appearance could be due to a rare condition.

A mutant baby shark with what appears to be a human face has baffled a fisherman after it was caught off the coast of Indonesia. The bizarre creature was found by Abdullah Nuren on Sunday February 21. He accidentally caught a pregnant shark while he was out fishing and she died after getting stuck in the trawler. Experts have suggested its unique appearance could be due to a rare condition. Abdullah, 48, noticed the apex predator was pregnant with three pups. When he cut open its stomach there were two baby sharks inside but the third stood out.
