Singer Ali Yusuf alias Arrow Bwoy has come out to reveal how the novel coronavirus pandemic disrupted his plans to tour the United States, Europe and Australia in 2020.
The Huruma slums bred songbird disclosed that he was also planning a homecoming event in Kakamega, southwestern Kenya. “2020 we had planned a US tour, then another across Europe. There was also an Australian tour in the works, as well as a homecoming tour in Kakamega. Corona messed many things but blessings came through,” said Arrow Bwoy.

Telling it all in an interview, the Love Doctor hitmaker highlighted that music does pay in Kenya. “Music pays if you learn how to package yourself well. There are digital platforms where we as artists are making a living from, so if you push your music well then it will surely pay,” he added.
The notoriously private singer, who - once in a while - lets his fans in on his life, that year revealed how his love life had gone sour. In a candid interview with Standard Entertainment & Lifestyle, the Toto star revealed that he caught his longtime girlfriend in bed with another man.
“This corona will show us things. It is the reason behind many families breaking up and I am a victim. The other day, I had missed spending quality time with my girlfriend and so I decided to borrow an essential service pass from a friend to go to her place at night for a surprise. Little did I know I would be surprising myself,” narrated Arrow Bwoy.
Adding: “I decided to buy grilled chicken from one of the eateries in town and then headed to her place where I have never needed permission to visit at night. Upon getting there, I caught her pants down with another man. What an embarrassing moment this surprise turned out to be.”

Hurt, he channelled that pain into his music. “I was hurt so deep but I didn’t want to cause drama. Being the man I am, I could not turn this into a fight. I turned back and headed home where I decided to fight back by expressing myself through the lyrics of my latest song.”
