Music legend Usher has welcomed a daughter with his girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea. The Yeah! singer, 41, took to his Instagram account to announce the birth of his daughter Sovereign. He shared an adorable image of his baby girl's tiny hand clutching onto his finger. In the caption to the photo, Usher penned: "We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. “Isn’t She lovely” by Stevie Wonder on repeat [three red heart emojis]".
He welcomed his daughter with girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea, the 37-year-old Vice-President of A&R at Epic Records. The pair are said to have begun dating in October 2019, after having been photographed kissing backstage at the Hollywood Bowl. According to People, the birth date of baby Sovereign was September 24, 2020. Sovereign is Usher's third child and first daughter, having already had two sons with ex-wife Tamika Foster: 12-year-old Usher V and 11-year-old Naviyd Ely.

The Bad Girl singer was married to the 49-year-old fashion stylist between 2007 and 2009, and has spent a period of the coronavirus lockdown this year with his boys. During this marriage, Usher had also been the step-father to Tamika's three sons born prior to their relationship, including two from her previous marriage to Ryan Glover. Following his married to Tamika, Usher was wed to one-time manager Grace Miguel in 2015, but their relationship ended in divorce in 2018.
Additionally, between 2001 and 2003, Usher led a high-profile romance with TLC singer Chilli Thomas and was also linked to British supermodel Naomi Campbell. Usher announced that he was expecting his third child in a recent appearance on Good Morning America. He revealed: "Babies always bring such joy to a family and [I'm] really excited for my young one — well, my bean’s arrival."

Photos had previously been published by Us Weekly showing Jenn and Usher walking in the street with her looking obviously pregnant. A source told the magazine at the time that the pair were "thrilled and very excited" about their baby news.
