The gripping Jackson Kibor-Yunita drama series continues

News

Josephine needs to redirect her energy to getting a good lawyer who will ensure that she gets her rightful share from Mzee Kibor’s massive estate Yunita is presently so love sodden and so in awe of her beau that she is oblivious to the future of family conflict that awaits her

In the last few months, we have been entertained by the going ons in the love life of Mzee Jackson Kibor. At the age of 86, the guy seems to be generating more love action and drama then some people half his age.

I must confess that I have been struggling with the thought of an 86-year-old getting his groove on with a 40 something-year-old with very disturbing images crossing my mind.

For now, let us shift our focus from Mzee Kibor to the women in his life. Let us start with the latest attraction in his life and the cause of all the drama, the controversial Mrs Yunita Kibor.

I imagine Yunita must be presently mesmerised and awestruck by the good old Mzee’s wealth and generosity.  I am sure he must have plied her with gifts and cash that go way above the airtime and chicken and chips give-aways that most women her age receive from cheap suitors.

This may blind her to the fact in a few years’ time she will be contending with a different version of Mzee Kibor. Nature is bound to have its way with his body and bodily functions. It is possible that right now he has been consuming herbs and pills that give some fake projectile powers to certain body parts.

This cannot in any way obscure the fact, the Mzee is on borrowed time and in a few years his love engine may not even summon a singular thrust even with the help of the best of bedroom jet fuel.

I hope Yunita knows this and is ready for this and planning to invest in some equipment or person to help bridge the gap.

Yunita is presently so love sodden and so in awe of her beau that she is oblivious to the future of family conflict and turmoil that awaits her. I hope that she will occasionally come up for air and enlist the services of a good lawyer to help her deal with all the battles that the Kibor offspring will send her way in the future.

The good Lord might grant Mzee Kibor many more years on this good earth, but based on what we have witnessed from other families in the recent past, we can be sure that his demise will open the floodgates for all types of missiles to be flung at Yunita.

I hope Yunita has accepted the fact that she will always be seen as the young gold digger wife whose singular achievement will have been taking advantage of an elder to earn a life time meal ticket.

While no one can read her thoughts or view her heart, we have a lot of precedence to borrow from and precedence tells us that most opportunistic gold diggers come dressed, looking and talking like Yunita.

The other woman who needs some honourable mention is Mrs Josephine Kibor. In the early days of this drama, I felt a tad sorry for her; after all it must hurt to have a man walk away from a marriage after half a century.

We have seen Josephine wail and even embarrassingly plead for the Mzee to reconsider his love for Yunita. However, the woiyee Josephine needs to be put to rest and instead replaced with a tough fighter women.

If Mzee Kibor has chosen to walk and to even tell the world he plans  to live longer without  Josephine then she has accept and move on. There really is no value in taking him or wanting him back; in fact it is better to let Yunita do the hard work of taking care of Mzee in his old age.

Josephine needs to redirect her energy to getting a good lawyer who will ensure that she gets her rightful share from Mzee Kibor’s massive estate; focus on having his estate and not his person. Who knows, with some serious asset base even Josephine can get her groove back.

We are looking forward to the next chapter of the Kibor family telenovela. It promises to be interesting and dramatic with all the right ingredients; geriatrics, money, young women and squabbling offspring. Fun times ahead.
