The artiste’s manager Sallam, now says it was out of his busy and clashing schedule that he failed to join his wife during the ceremony.
Sallam said the team that had been in Nairobi, Kenya, and got to Tanzania too late to make it for the Uganda burial.
The deceased was a tycoon who lived big and was never shy to showcase his flamboyant lifestyle, a trait that has followed him all the way to his grave.
As Zari’s ex-husband Ivan Ssamwanga was laid to rest on Tuesday, his fellow tycoons threw money and poured champagne into his grave to the shock of many who, well we would guess, would wish it was given to the living. The burial took place at the tycoon’s Kanyunga home.
Ssemwanga, who has three sons with the Ugandan socialite who is now living with Tanzanian celebrity Diamond died in South Africa while undergoing treatment.
