On December 1, Senator Mike Sonko's vocal daughter, Salma Mbuvi posted a heartbreaking tribute to her late mother on Instagram.
"As we celebrate you tomorrow and remember everything you did for us. For me, I celebrate you every single day having you for a mum was the best beginning life could have given me. I know your listening from the heavens above there is nothing I value more than your love no matter where I am or what am doing your memories will always keep me smiling love you mama #RIP missing you," she captioned the black and white photo.
